Cari Mann
Good day. My name is Cari Mann. Thank you for taking the time to look over our website. I am so proud of the learning community we are creating here at Empow3r. A bit about my background. I come from a family of teachers. I have always enjoyed teaching, so much so I earned my MA in Education. Although I have attended school for many years, I find I continue to learn from my students each year. This is what makes teaching fun and rewarding. I have been at the IEP table as a teacher, an administrator, as well as a parent of a daughter who is dyslexic.. This makes working with students and attending IEP's meaningful for me. I enjoy looking at different perspectives when working with families. I strongly believe that each student has individual needs. Welcome to our website. We look forward to serving your family.

Isabella Spada
This is Miss Ravetto’s ninth year teaching Special Education! She believes that teaching special needs children is the greatest thing ever and is the most rewarding career choice out there. She attended the University of Utah and Dixie State University and received a BA in Psychology & Secondary Education. She later continued her education to earn her Special Education Endorsement in 2016.
As a California native, some of her favorite time spent is at the beach. She likes to swim, go on hikes, and play on the tennis court! Mrs. Ravetto enjoys traveling, eating exotic foods, reading, painting, and trying new things. Most of all, Miss Ravetto loves to spend time with family and friends!

Wow! Empow3r Education was a dream and now it's here. My name is Jodie and I have been teaching for 25 years. I grew up in Northern Michigan, then moved to NY, and eventually made my way West to California. I now live in San Diego county and enjoy the beautiful weather. I have 4 kids, 3 dogs, and 3 cats. In my spare time, I love spending time with my kids, husband, and trying new restaurants on the coast. Where do I see myself in ten years? I will always be a teacher and have a dream to help Empow3r Education grow and prosper!

Hello from Northern California. My name is Morgan and I am 30 years old. I graduated with my English degree a few years back and recently have become certified as a behavior technician. I love going on hikes or hanging out at the river. I am a huge animal lover...especially cats and dogs. I look forward to helping you out as you begin working with Empow3r Education.

Hello everyone! My name is Maya. I currently work at Orangetheory fitness as a sales associate and social media manager and I am in school for business marking and kinesiology. I spend most of my free time surfing, with my family, or at the beach. I grew up in a family of 5 so being around all of my siblings and my parents is very important to me.

Hi! This will be my 18th year teaching, and I currently hold Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Severe, DHH, and VI credentials, as well as an MS in Special Education. I have had the pleasure of traveling around the country for my husband's employment and am currently licensed in the following amazing states: California, Nevada, and South Carolina. I have three beautiful children and love spending all of my free time with them, often on some fun outdoor adventure. I’m an animal lover and share my home with both cats and dogs. The opportunity to teach and positively impact individuals' lives is a blessing, and I am very grateful to continue contributing to the education field.

Hi there. My name is Madalyn and I just graduated from High School a year early. I am starting college this winter 2025 and can't wait to earn my degree in Cosmetology. I am absolutely obsessed with cats. I have a humungous Siamese cat named Grandpa that I love him very much. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy reading inspirational books and watching Netflix.
Hi, I'm Cheri, your friendly neighborhood clinician! I am also the parent of a now-adult child who had learning and mental health obstacles all through their educational journey, so I understand the field as both a professional and as a Mom. I hold a doctorate in Educational Psychology and have worked in education and behavioral health for almost 25 years. I am a licensed behavior analyst in 5 states and hold credentials as a doctoral-level BCBA, certified clinical case manager, trauma specialist, and dual diagnosis clinician. I have held roles to provide educational and behavioral health services and leadership across the lifespan to individuals and families in every setting from homes to hospitals to developmental centers to schools to communities to the workplace and everywhere in between! I am passionate about the multidisciplinary approach to care and a huge believer in nutrition and fitness as part of everyone's lifestyle in whatever way they are capable and works for them. I am a former marathon runner and triathlete. When not working, I can be found baking, hiking, doing outdoor yoga, kayaking and volunteering in my community.
